In One is All

about

In the late ‘90s and early 2000s I was fortunate to play duo tours with Davey Williams. All I can say is—he was a genius!

Davey created sounds, phrases, and deep searches into unknown places. He made music that transported me. I was inspired to respond with all the colors I could bring forth. Very rarely in this performance did I rely on my free jazz cymbal patterns that had become a habit of mine in some types of playing.

Davey really created another world to play in.
I was truly set free playing with Master Williams.
I miss him very much!
